About Me: The Story Behind One Stop Water Shop

Professional Background

My journey into water quality didn't start in some corporate boardroom—it started right in the field, getting my hands dirty. I’ve worked as a plumber for over 10 years, and I proudly hold my Journeyman’s card. Over that decade on the job, I mastered the technical mechanics of residential and commercial systems, solving complex piping and infrastructure issues from the ground up. I know exactly how water moves through a home, what can go wrong with the pipes, and how to fix it right the first time. Because of that background, I don't just know the ins and outs of the water itself—I have a deep, firsthand understanding of the exact devices and systems needed to protect your entire plumbing infrastructure from damage.

The Shift to Water Treatment

Even though I loved the plumbing trade, I eventually decided to shift lanes and specialize deeply in water treatment—and I completely fell in love with it. I realized that fixing a broken pipe is only half the battle. Ensuring the actual health, safety, and crisp quality of the water running through those pipes is what truly changes a family's daily life. Water is a precious resource, and the thought of taking my skills to a wider scale—bringing cleaner, safer water to our entire community—is what genuinely excites me on a day-to-day basis. There is honestly nothing more rewarding to me than taking harsh, problematic water full of nasty buildup and turning it into safe, fresh, premium drinkable water right at a homeowner's kitchen tap. It became my true passion.

My Philosophy & Vision

I founded One Stop Water Shop Water Treatment Solutions to blend that hard-earned plumbing expertise with advanced water science. I’m not here to sell you some generic, "big box" retail shortcut that won't work in a couple of years. My focus is on providing high-level, data-backed solutions engineered specifically for West Michigan’s unique geology—combating our notorious calcium buildup and heavy iron staining once and for all.

To make sure I'm always bringing you the best possible service, I am currently pursuing my Certified Water Specialist (CWS) certification through the Water Quality Association (WQA). When you work with us, you aren't just getting a basic handyman ; you are partnering with a specialist who is genuinely dedicated to the long-term health and crisp taste of your home's water ecosystem.
